About Avia Venefica
I can write about Tarot and symbolism until the cows come home, but the inkwell dries up when I've got to write about me. Regardless, I've gotten a lot of questions lately ("Who is Avia Venefica?" "Where is your bio page?") I suppose after working on this site for So, I'm Avia Venefica, creator of TarotTeachings.com I'm typically the observer and the listener (this is precisely why I'm a good interpreter). In fact, I listen more and more these days, and what I hear are symbolic languages babbling like brooks bubbling up conversations from parallel points of reference - well preserved, and ready to quench. What I observe are layers of symbolic impressions, subtle like shadows but real nonetheless - present in each moment. Symbols press upon me like leaves pressed in a book, leaving moist markers against preprinted knowledge, pointing to passages of interest too. Poetry aside, that's what I do. I interpret the more subtle complexities of symbolic communications. In short, I interpret symbolism in its various guises. This and my other websites come from a realization that there is infinite symbolism in our midst. Where we stand, there are deeper meanings in every ounce of life that pulses within and around us. These deeper meanings are available for all of us to observe, comprehend and interpret. Most of us do this instinctively already. We look for signs, or clues that may give us clarity or make sense of things in our lives. Due to a phrenetic nature, I take this "looking for clues" to an extreme. Over a period of time I've grown to see things at a slant - to peek through an anomalous crack so as to experience a myriad of understandings. In other words, I've simply developed a quirky habit of seeing deeper meanings into things. It's like looking through a crazy peephole that allows my observations to be a bit richer and profound. But I can neither claim to be the observer through that slanted peephole all the time, nor do I know every symbol meaning under the sun. For kindness sake please keep that in mind. I get off kilter same as everybody else. There are days when it seems my pulse has gone missing, never mind my level of awareness. I'm learning on this trip just the same as you. I don't have all the answers, and I don't know how it all works. I do know there are answers available to us; we just have to be persistent, patient and develop the ingenuity in the finding of them. And so this is the primary purpose behind my websites - to provide some foundational information that will springboard you to find the answers you seek. Both Tarot Teachings, and my other website, www.Whats-Your-Sign.com are simply resources intended to set you in motion upon your own path so that you can find your own crazy peepholes in which to see the world with symbolic eyes. Interpreting the motion of our life situations by using symbolism (from all sources, including Tarot) is a brilliant way to identify our personal unfolding as we travel the human path. I'm often called upon for assistance in providing intuitive readings. However, I no longer offer Tarot readings, and this is why. This is not to downplay the potential power inherent to the Tarot. It's a perfect translator for the language of symbolism. I could wax ad infinitum about the Tarot and it's uses (and I do, just take a look around my site). Simply put, it's just another tool for understanding energy on a deeper level. Not very glamorous, is it? That's because the Tarot is not about flash and glam. To those of us who are sincere practitioners, the Tarot will aid in the unveiling of the soul - but we are the ones who must orchestrate the soul's debut. In fact, when we reach this point of soul awareness, we will no longer have need for the Tarot.
In conclusion, thanks for visiting my site and indulging me this time of poetic reflection. Dylan Zephyr (my cat shown left) thanks you too - he's got fuzzy lips, but I love him anyway. High beams,
