There is a symbol on Tarot cards (all of them) belonging to the Rider-Waite deck. It’s a vertical line with some squiggly lines running through it and a dot. Could you please tell me what this Tarot symbol represents?

For this particular deck (Rider-Waite), the symbol you’re referring to is a maker’s mark. It’s the signature mark of the illustrator for this Tarot deck, who is, Pamela Colman Smith.

Yep, Avia’s right. They are the initials of the artist, Pamela Coleman Smith.
